Mission Statement:
At BigBlueTarp.US we are looking to develop a third party website that is fun and interactive for fans of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Along with making a site for fans, we will also be developing an advertising site for local businesses to help boost the local economy in Sullivan county. Instead of concert goers buying at their local walmart, why not buy from one of our quaint local shops.
Operator:
The operator of the site is Randy J. Regan. A 21 year old from Monticello, NY who has watched Bethel Woods grow from the age of 7 with a backstage pass at Bethel '94 through A Day in the Garden in '99 to the beautiful venue it has become today. Over the last 2 years, he has made it a hobby of his to announce concerts and all information about Bethel Woods to his friends and fellow fans as quickly and early as possible. In March of 2009, he decided to start this site and have it open 2 weeks prior to the first concert.
How we got our name:
BigBlueTarp.us came from Randy's group of friends who show up at most Bethel Woods concerts with their big blue tarp. The tarp can be see in promotional Bethel Woods pictures from the air. The tarp has been used for everything from a slip & slide during the Steve Miller Band concert to a tent in the pouring rains of many other shows.
