Celtic Woman

This all female musical ensemble merges the Irish culture and music with the traditional pop music sound. Created by former Riverdance musical director, David Downes, Celtic Woman has released a total of five albums, selling over 50 million worldwide. The release of their first self titled album in 2006 landed them at number one on Billboard’s World Music chart for a record breaking 81 weeks.

This powerful international female group, who has been referred to as “Riverdance for the voice”, is comprised of Ireland natives Chloe Agnew, Orla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, Alex Sharpe and Mairead Nesbitt. Celtic Woman is currently traveling the globe on their “Songs from the Heart” tour, bringing their modern take to Celtic music to audiences around the world.
