Cowboy Junkies

Cowboy Junkies are a Canadian alternative rock band that has been around for the past twenty-four years. The band consists of three siblings Michael, Peter, & Margo Timmins and old friend Alan Anton. The Cowboy Junkies are probably best known in the United States for their cover of The Velvet Underground song, Sweet Jane back in 1988. This song came off their album The Trinity Sessions, which is also their best selling album, going platinum three times. In 2007 they played alongside the Boston Pops conducted by Keith Lockhart. Also, during that year they released Trinity Revisited, a re-recording of their most popular album, this time with a few special guests.
