David Bromberg Quartet

At the young age of 13 years old, David Bromberg started studying the guitar. Bromberg grew up in Tarrytown, New York, being influenced by folk legend Pete Seeger. After high school, David attended Columbia University in New York City. During this time, Bromberg studied under blues great Reverend Gary Davis.

Throughout the years, David Bromberg has played with some of the most famous and influential artists of the past four decades, including Jerry Garcia, George Harrison, Bob Dylan and Ringo Starr. While working with these artists and many others, Bromberg has been featured on over 100 albums, including twenty of his own.

This will be the second time that David Bromberg has performed at Bethel Woods, the first having been in September of 2008. During his 2008 performance, he performed with the Angel Band. During his upcoming performance in 2011, he will be performing with the David Bromberg Quartet.
